SAMANAH COUNTRY CLUB MARRAKECH

Samanah Golf Club is located 8Km from Marrakech International Airport on the road to Amezmiz. The domain covers more than 300 ha and benefits from an open view of the Atlas Mountain. Hundred Hectares are dedicated to the golf course which was created by Nicklaus Design. Samanah Golf Club is a “desert type” golf course: the choice of vegetation and plants was realized in this spirit (Cacti, Palm Trees, Olive Trees). The length is 6800m from the back tees. The length can be modified, thanks to the wide departures. The Clubhouse has a surface of 2000 square meters. Its architecture is inspired by the bulwarks of Marrakech and decorated with ponds and fountains. Samanah Golf course is flat, generous and expansive. Striking are filled with white sand bunkers and sand-colored houses with their front gardens, which are in a generous distance from the fairways. The quality of the greens is the key point of the course. The greens are fast but the ball will hold well. The fairways, while dry gave the ball good distance if you kept it in play. Still there are water hazards creating a challenge.
